About Ellen Croft: Ellen Croft has been a Pilates and fitness professional for over 25 years. Her one-of-a-kind training and instinct for achieving results has led to a client roster that includes celebrities, professional athletes, and high-profile executives. Ellen embarked on a mission to invent the first at-home Pilates apparatus based on Joseph Pilates’ original creation, The Cadillac. In keeping with the same elegance and performance, Ellen developed a highly effective Pilates training machine that delivers the results of an in-studio pilates resistance work-out. Ellen currently runs a private Pilates studio in Santa Barbara, California. About the Supreme Pilates Classes: The Supreme Pilates Classes combine the body sculpting benefits of pilates mat workouts and studio equipment into one simple workout program, one which is offered no where else in the world!! Using the machine’s “Free Flow Resistance” technology, you will gain muscular strength, improve muscular awareness, kinesthetic ability, postural alignment and flexibility. Under the guidance of Ellen Croft or professional instructors hand picked and trained by Ellen Croft, you will be led through an integrated and dynamic workout that will target every muscle in your body. The Studio offers classes from beginner to Level III – classes which are designed to consistently teach and reinforce the basic tenets of Pilates. Gait and Posture Intensive The intention of this class is to provide the tools and knowledge on how to make appropriate changes and adjustments to your body carriage and posture. Through interactive learning you will become aware of habits that you may have acquired in early childhood when modeling parents, or through repetitive postures such as working behind a desk or long hours standing or maybe a protective posture assumed after an injury, during puberty or after child birth. Bringing awareness to how you use your body as you go through your daily life is how real change can occur and the change is more profound then spending a couple of hours a week at a gym as it is learned kinesthetically. This intensive will give you a personalized look at your own posture and gait and provide you with the tools on how to make subtle changes and improvements which will affect your life for years to come. |
